Integrated display with several multiviewers for enhanced situational awareness introduced by RGB Spectrum

ALAMEDA, Calif. – RGB Spectrum in Alameda, Calif., is introducing an enhanced version of the company's Zio AV-over-IP multi-window image and computer graphics viewer for consolidating diverse data sources onto one screen to boost situational awareness and improve workflow.

The enhance Zio AV-over-IP system has two multiviewers, the QuadView IPX and the SuperViewIPX. The Zio AV-over-IP offers real-time bandwidth-efficient low latency distribution across packet-based networks like local area networks (LANs) wide-area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), and mobile phone networks.

The enterprise-level Zio AV-over-IP system is based on industry-standard H.264/H.265 compression, and is compatible with third-party IP equipment as well as RGB's own networked video appliances.

Zio has provides integrated display on devices ranging from single-view monitors, to multiviewers, to video walls. Whether within one room, throughout campus, or across the world, the system features integrated signal distribution and display that blends smart phones, multiviewers, and video walls. The goal: Any video, over any network, to any device.

The IPX series multiviewers display a combination of local baseband and remote IP video, with access over HDMI and LAN/WAN connections. The IPX multiviewers are compatible with other Zio components like encoders and recorder/media servers, and can be addressed with a common graphic user interface (GUI).

The QuadView IPX enables users to display as many as four HDMI or IP video signals in customizable layouts on a desk- or wall-mounted screen. The SuperView IPX offers similar capabilities, with as many as eight video signals.

Additional features include 4K 60 Hz input and output resolutions, flexible image resizing and placement options, customizable display layouts and presets, four HDMI 2.0 I/O ports, H.264 and H.265 decoding and display, an embedded architecture for heightened security, and control options like browser-based GUI, Telnet, and RS-232.
