Artificial intelligence (AI)- ready mini PC for identity management and health care introduced by AAEON
TAIPEI, Taiwan – AAEON Technology in Taipei, Taiwan, is introducing the UP Squared Pro 710H Edge mini PC for identity management, anti-microbial resistance, and health care imaging solutions.
The UP Squared Pro 710H Edge comes with an onboard Hailo-8 edge artificial intelligence (AI) processor and a choice of either Intel Core i3-N305 or Intel Processor N97 embedded processors.
The UP Squared Pro 710H Edge offers machine learning frameworks and pre-trained models of the Hailo AI software suite onboard by integrating the Hailo-8 edge AI processor chip.
The board is AI-ready, and offers 26 tera-operations per second of inferencing performance and power-efficiency.
The inclusion of as much as 16 gigabytes LPDDR5 memory and as much as 128 gigabytes of eMMC data storage provides speed and storage capacity to support multitasking and data storage requirements, while onboard TPM 2.0 enhances data security.
The mini PC offers users in the digital signage, kiosk, and smart advertising spaces an opportunity to deploy a fanless compact mini PC for high-quality image display in low-noise environments.
Other I/O features include dual LAN ports supporting Intel Ethernet Controller I226-IT at 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, dual COM ports for RS-232/422/485, and dual USB ports. Additionally, a 40-pin GPIO is provided for cameras, sensors, and industrial communications protocols.
The UP Squared Pro 710H Edge measures 134 by 105 by 60 millimeters, offers several, mounting options, and a 12-to-36-volt power input tolerance, as well as Wi-Fi, 4G/5G, and additional storage. Users can scale the AI performance of the system.
