FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. – KYOCERA AVX Components Corp. in Fountain Inn, S.C., is introducing the 9258-100 series spring-finger board-to-board compression contacts for rugged, industrial handheld, and portable devices.

Packaged in a miniature, low-profile, single-contact form factor that supports flexible circuit board placement, the 9258-100 series spring-finger board-to-board compression contacts help designers reduce size and costs.

Gold plating

These high-strength, UL-approved copper alloy contacts are available with three deflected height profiles spanning 1 to 3.75 millimeters, with as much as 0.4 microns of gold plating for signal integrity, reliability, and durability.

These contacts for rugged industrial applications are designed to withstand as much as 50 Gs of shock, 2.7 Gs of random vibration, and 2,500 mating cycles. They come in tape and reel, and are rated for as much as 6 amps of power, and operate in temperatures from -40 to 125 degrees Celsius.
