AUSTIN, Texas – Emerson Automation Solutions in Austin, Texas, is introducing version 6.LTS of the DeltaV Mimic dynamic simulation software, which helps eliminate silos of data and provide tools to create digital twin simulations.

New enterprise capability in Mimic Train helps eliminate data silos by bringing training data out of the plant and up to the enterprise where organizations can use it in standard learning systems.

The design and development tools can help companies improve record keeping, and ensure training requirements to meet the organization's standards.

Enterprise teams also can combine operational data with training history to explore how differences in training may contribute to performance disparities.

Improved scalability

DeltaV Mimic version 6.LTS will improve scalability. Options for subscription licensing via Emerson's Guardian digital experience will make it easier for organizations to distribute and optimize licensing across enterprise architectures.

Emerson has added support for DeltaV DCS virtual controllers while also increasing node support by a factor of nearly 10 to empower users to build larger simulations in a single instance of the software and make it far easier to scale up as operations grow.

The DeltaV Mimic flow tuner gives users a way to tune models to will reduce the time it takes to align models with actual process performance. For more information contact Emerson online at www.emerson.com/en-us/automation/operations-business-management/dynamic-simulation.
