LaBarge to produce electronic assemblies for radar jammer on F-15 jet fighter

ST. LOUIS, 11 June 2008. La Barge Inc. is is building electronic control assemblies for the radar detector jammer system on the F-15 Eagle fighter combat jet under terms of a $1.5 million military defense contract from major defense contractor Northrop Grumman Corp.

ST. LOUIS, 11 June 2008.LaBarge Inc. in St. Louis is building electronic assemblies for the AN/ALQ-135 radar jammer system on the U.S. Air Force F-15 Eagle jet fighter under terms of a $1.5 million contract from Northrop Grumman Corp. LaBarge has worked on the program since 2005.

The AN/ALQ-135, an internally mounted radar countermeasures system designed for the F-15 aircraft, automatically detects and jams radar signals of enemy missiles and other airborne threats.
