CMI Defence chooses combat vehicle turret drive stabilization system from Curtiss-Wright Controls
CHARLOTTE, N.C., 3 Dec. 2010. Systems designers at Cockerill Maintenance & Ingénierie (CMI) Defence in Embourg, Belgium, needed a turret drive stabilization system for a U.S. foreign military sales contract. They found their solution from Curtiss-Wright Controls Inc. in Charlotte, N.C. Curtiss-Wright's Motion Control segment will build the turret stabilization units with the company's Digital AC Servo (DACS) III system, at the company's facility in Neuhausen, Switzerland.
