NAI Enhances SWaP-Optimized Systems for Rugged Mil-Aero Applications with the release of their new SOSA™-aligned 68ARM4 Single Board Computer

(NAI), a leading supplier of embedded computing solutions, is proud to announce the release of the 68ARM4, a state-of-the-art 3U OpenVPX SOSA™-aligned Single Board Computer (SBC), designed to ‘level-up’ the computing solutions field in rugged air, land, and sea applications.
The 68ARM4 boasts the power of the NXP® Layerscape® LX2 Processor Family, leveraging ARM® core technology with a choice of 8, 12, or 16 Cortex-A72 cores, at speeds of up to 2.2 GHz. Alongside, it offers a baseline configuration of 32 GB DDR4 SDRAM with error correction code (ECC) memory and can accommodate up to 512 GB of on-board SATA solid-state disk (SSD) storage. The 68ARM4 enables efficient management of high-performance customer software applications while maintaining a low power consumption profile.
With its SOSA™-aligned module profile, the 68ARM4 provides a choice of a standard XMC site or two factory-fitted NAI smart I/O function modules, offering over 100+ different functions to choose from. This flexibility allows users to configure the 68ARM4 to meet their unique needs, making it ideally suited for rugged Mil-Aero I/O and processing solution across diverse application domains.
