The Diamond Mini-AVIM® connector was developed following a market demand for a smaller and lighter version of the Diamond AVIM connector, especially for Space applications. The Mini-AVIM® connector combines two technologies: the AVIM MIL-style ratchet system and the base construction of the Diamond Micro Interface (DMI) connector. The Mini-AVIM® can be used for standard SM and MM fibers, as well as for PS and PM technologies and multi-fiber ferrules.
