This lightweight, low loss cable has been specially designedby PIC for airborne 100 Base-T data applications as definedby ARINC Specification 664.Data transmission aboard aircraft faces more severe environmentaland EMI situations than conventional LAN systemsin commercial buildings, hence the double shieldingto preserve technical performance. The cable is designedto be terminated with ARINC 600 and D38999 quad-typecontacts. It is compatible with any contact designed forTensolite cable part number NF26Q100.An ETFE jacket protects the cable against abrasion andenvironmental effects while maintaining flexibility for easeof installation and is laser markable.E51426 exceeds Category 5e requirements, is Skydrol resistantand meets the FAA flammability requirements of14 CFR Part FAR 25.869(a)(4) Amdt 25-113 Appendix FPart I (a)(3).
