ZMicro Hires DOD ISR Industry Veteran Paul Stewart of Director of Programs
SAN DIEGO - ZMicro, a leading provider of mission-ready computing systems, today announced that Paul Stewart, an industry veteran and an expert in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) programs, has joined the company as Director of Programs. In his new role, Stewart is responsible for life cycle management of ZMicro’s Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
Prior to joining ZMicro, Stewart was a senior executive at ForceX, a successful DoD contractor and a leader in ISR software development and geospatial application technology programs, which was subsequently acquired by L-3. Paul was a member of the United States Air Force for 15 years. For the majority of his tenure, he was a member of the Big Safari Special Program Office (SPO) where he worked a wide variety of classified and unclassified programs in direct support of the Global War on Terrorism.
“Programs like Big Safari depend on companies like ZMicro to respond quickly and meet the urgent requirements of the DoD,” said Stewart. “I first started working with ZMicro more than ten years ago while at Big Safari. ZMicro’s products have always been more reliable, more capable and more rugged than anything else available. What made me want to join the company was ZMicro’s impressive culture focused on excellence and their pride in how much they help the warfighter every day.”
“We’ve known Paul a long time and he is such a great fit for ZMicro,” said Jason Wade, president of ZMicro. “Paul brings a tremendous depth of expertise in ISR and DoD program management. He truly understands our customers and is dedicated to meeting their needs. We are excited that he is helping us build out our program management capabilities so we can continue to offer customers the responsive service and dependable products that meet the needs of their programs and exceed their expectations.”
