It features a very high responsivity and very fast operation. Dark current is less than 1.0 nA. This part is very fast, typically exceeding 1.5 GHz.This product features a solid machined stainless steel housing that resists corrosion and environmental attack. The optics are solidly mounted and are encapsulated with an epoxy product. The actual diode is hermetically sealed. The combination of these features produces an extremely rugged product.
