The PMC-VCM board is a real time, PMC power monitoring mezzanine. For each power rail, the board is capable of reporting the actual input voltage, voltage drop across the measurement shunt resistor, calculated Amps and calculated Watts. Calibration for the unit is also programmable.The small form factor monitoring board mounts between the host platform and the PMC. A connector is provided on the board to enable connection to an I2C bus provided by the host system. Data is then offloaded from the board by I2C. The I2C addresses are user configurable from a preset range. Two I2C connectors are available on the board to enable daisy chain topology of the connections to other boards or other I2C devices.The board has been tested extensively across a temperature range of -40 to +85C. It is available for 32 or 64 bit PCI systems .
