This is a very PICMG standard for modular systems based on the AMC maps (Advanced Mezzanine Cards). It allows for communication servers with very high bandwidth (40Gb Ethernet, PCI Express Gen3 ...) and large computing capabilities (multi processor, FPGA, GGPGU).It offers the user to the very high availability through redundancy of its power supplies, fan units and its MCH controller card that manages all system resources and Ethernet switching grids, PCI Express , Serial Rapid IO, Infiniband, agnostic manner on the backplane μTCA. All these options are available on request allow the system architecture to meet many needs in areas as diverse as the Mil / Aero, network communications, medical and telephony.
