Custom MMIC's expertly designed RF / Microwave MMIC mixers cover a wide range of frequency bands ranging from 6 to 46 GHz (C through V band) with a low conversion loss and high isolation between the LO and RF, and LO and IF ports. With in-phase quadrature (I/Q), image reject (IRM), and fundamental mixer designs in our library, the engineering team at Custom MMIC has developed a robust and growing catalog of solutions for the RF / Microwave designer's MMIC mixer needs. These leadless surface mount packages can be used for up-conversion or down-conversion while the IRM and I/Q mixers can be leveraged for image cancellation or as a single sideband upconverter. The IQ/IRM mixers utilize two double balanced mixer cells and a 90 degree hybrid while the fundamental mixers can be used as an IRM with external hybrids and power splitters. With die sizes as small as 3x3 mm, these MMIC mixers can serve numerous frequency conversion requirements.
