helux™ Toolkit Receives Highest Designation for Innovation in Industry Awards Program
What an honor! Our helux Toolkit™ has received the top distinction of a Platinum award in Military & Aerospace Electronics 2022 Innovators Awards program.
As noted by the publication, products with a Platinum designation demonstrate “superb innovation, characterized by a groundbreaking approach to meeting a need or new level of performance, efficiency, ease-of-use or other beneficial quality.”
Sciens Innovations helux™ Toolkit reduces the needed development and integration of MORA and VICTORY applications for SOSA aligned VPX hardware, facilitating SOSA adoption within the community. It’s a hardware-agnostic, comprehensive solution that provides software implementations of MORA/VICTORY interfaces, HDL modules for framing, filtering and arbitration of MDM/UDP packets, and tools to facilitate end-user interaction and demonstration of SOSA hardware.
The UI tools include MORA Explorer to enable end-users to visualize and control MORA devices within a domain and MSRP Generator to produce MORA Signal Resource Profiles describing the hardware components’ capabilities and position within the overall system.
In addition to the capabilities of the toolkit itself, Sciens facilitates system development for its customers using helux™ by:
Offering the service of performing the initial implementation of the MORA and VICTORY interfaces and integrating with the specific card in an expedited manner
Providing continued maintenance and sustainment of the user-specific implementations, and the underlying libraries to keep in lockstep with the MORA and VICTORY specification as they evolve
Maintaining a comprehensive support infrastructure with an artifact repository and service desk
Artifact repository – publicly available, access-controlled repository that contains the software and firmware deliverables for each vendors hardware to enable quick access by the vendor and their customers, especially when fixing an issue or upgrading the artifacts to match the latest release of the specs
Service desk – allows users and their customers to submit issues they are experiencing, look at manuals and other information in the knowledge base, see commonly asked questions, etc.

About the Military & Aerospace Electronics Innovators Awards
The Innovators Awards program recognizes companies in the aerospace and defense electronics industry for technological innovations that solve defense and aerospace electronics design challenges with real solutions. Using a three-tiered approach (Platinum, Gold and Silver), the program recognizes the most influential enabling technologies that often solve problems for which there was no known solution before, or which were particularly difficult.
