ITT Interconnect introduces rugged electrical connectors for transportation applications
ITT Interconnect Solutions in Santa Ana, Calif., is introducing electronic connectors for transportation applications called the Trident series. The connectors come in six configurations including snap-together (rectangular and slimline), multiway (rack & panel), ringlock (circular), neptune (circular) and TNM (circular) devices. Additional applications for the Trident connectors include rail, test, communications and manufacturing equipment, and robotic systems. The snap-together rectangular and slimline connectors feature an operating voltage of 250 volts AC rms. Contact current rating is up to 13 amps for the rectangular connector and 10 amps for the slimline version. Insulation resistance is 5000Mohms at 500 volts DC. Rack & panel connectors are tested to MIL-STD-202 and feature a test voltage of 200 volts AC RMS for 60 seconds and an insulation resistance of 5000Mohms at 500 volts DC. Operating temperature ranges from -55 to 125 degrees Celsius. The ringlock connectors feature an operating voltage of 250 volts AC RMS and a contact current rating to 13 amps. Insulation resistance is 5000Mohms at 500 volts DC. For more information, visit ITT Interconnect Solutions online at www.ittcannon.com.
