Northrop Grumman nets space center contract

Northrop Grumman Technical Services Inc. of Herndon, Va., heads a team that will provide base operations support for the next five years at Cape Canaveral Air Station and Patrick Air Force Base in Florida. These installations house the NASA Kennedy Space Center and the U.S. Air Force?s 45th Space Wing. Northrop Grumman is working under a $2.2 billion NASA contract, which contains an option for a 5-year extension. Other members of the joint venture are ICF Kaiser Defense Programs Inc. in Fairfax, Va., and Wackenhut Services Inc. of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. J.R.
