Actel receives transitional QML status

Actel Corp. of Sunnyvale Calif., an integrated circuit manufacturer specializing in field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), has received transitional certification to Mil-I-38535 qualified Manufacturing List (QML) status from the Defense Supply Center Columbus in Columbus, Ohio. The QML designation covers Actel`s antifuse-based HiRel products, including all ACT1, ACT2, and ACT3 product lines that support gate densities of between 1,200 and 10,000 gates. Actel Corp. of Sunnyvale Calif., an integrated circuit manufacturer specializing in field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), has received transitional certification to Mil-I-38535 qualified Manufacturing List (QML) status from the Defense Supply Center Columbus in Columbus, Ohio. The QML designation covers Actel`s antifuse-based HiRel products, including all ACT1, ACT2, and ACT3 product lines that support gate densities of between 1,200 and 10,000 gates. QML also will cover new military-grade Actel devices in the 1200XL and 3200DX families, which company officials will introduce later this spring. Actel officials say they plan to achieve full QML status by the end of 1998.
