Acromag Inc. in Wixom, Mich., is offering the AVME9668 nonintelligent slave board that interfaces IP modules to the VMEbus. The 6U board holds four IP modules and makes all field I/O connections through the front panel of the carrier board. To accommodate rugged, high-performance applications, the front-panel SCSI-2 connectors provide screw-down or spring-latch connections. The carrier board provides data access to the IP module’s I/O, ID, and memory spaces. Each IP module can have as much as 8 megabytes of memory space. With access to the programmable registers, users can configure and control the operation of the IP modules from the VMEbus. The card also supports as many as two interrupt requests for each IP module. For more information contact Acromag online at www.acromag.com.
