U.S. Marine Corps officials needed an advanced security system to prevent unauthorized entry into the Quantico Marine Corps Base in Quantico in Virginia. They found such a solution at Intelli-Check Mobilisa Inc. in Port Townsend, Wash.
Intelli-Check Mobilisa won a roughly $160,000 contract to provide its IM2525 ID-scan system equipment, installation, and training. Intelli-Check Mobilisa engineers have installed the company’s Defense ID security equipment at Quantico, home to Marine Corps University, Officer Candidate School, and the FBI’s training center.
“We’ve stopped more than 50,000 bad guys with Defense ID, while making access to the base faster,” Steve Williams, Intellicheck Mobilisa’s chief operating officer, explains. For more information, visit Intelli-Check-Mobilisa Inc. online at www.icmobil.com.
