Acme sells aerospace segment
Noted battery manufacturer Acme Electric Corp. in Aurora, N.Y., is selling its aerospace division to Ultra Force Battery Corp., a newly formed subsidiary of B.A.T. International Inc. in Burbank, Calif. The agreement also provides for the license of Acme`s battery-related technologies for the electric vehicle and other commercial markets. Acme makes power conversion equipment for electronic systems for military, aerospace, industrial, commercial, and residential applications. - J.K.
