LONG BEACH, Calif., 29 Aug. 2005. The next Military Embedded Electronics and Computing Conference (MEECC) will 16 and 17 May 2006 at the Hyatt Hotel in Long Beach, Calif.

LONG BEACH, Calif., 29 Aug. 2005. The next Military Embedded Electronics and Computing Conference (MEECC) will 16 and 17 May 2006 at the Hyatt Hotel in Long Beach, Calif.

The sponsor of MEECC is the VMEbus International Trade Association (VITA) in Scottsdale, Ariz.

The first day of the conference will focus on issues and requirements of the military embedded electronics and computing market; and the second day, varying tracks will explore specific issues such as cooling, obsolescence, and lead free.

MEECC covers the military embedded market; military programs; new requirements of the market; and new military embedded product rollouts.
