SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif., 11 June 2011. A new hardline cable assembly, called the Endevco 3075M6-XXX, for extreme high temperatureaerospace applications -- as high as 482 degrees Celsius -- was released by Meggitt Sensing Systems.
The device comes in a hermetically sealed design to resist corrosion, humidity, and other harsh conditions. It has a fiberglass jacket over a 304L stainless steel outer sheath to prevent inadvertent signal grounding.
Both cable assembly ends finish into glass fired industry standard 10-32 UNF connectors. An optional 10-32 to 10-32 in-line adaptor that is sold separately with Endevco model number 33268, enables the combination of two model 3075M6-XXX assemblies into a single operating device. The cable assembly was developed to be directly compatible with high-temperature single ended piezoelectric accelerometers, including Endevco models 2273AM20, 2276, and 2248. However, the new product can be used with other industry devices.
