EOIR Technologies wins SeaPort-e task order

FREDERICKSBURG, Va., 14 Oct. 2011. EOIR Technologies Inc. won a $44.9 million task order under the U.S. Navy's SeaPort-e contract to provide services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division’s (NSWCDD’s) Directed Energy Division (Q20) for the development, testing, and implementation of counter improvised explosive device (CIED) systems and operations. Company engineers will also help deploy and sustain directed energy (DE) systems and capabilities in support of current and future military operations.

EOIR has supported the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps in Zone 2 (National Capital) as a prime contractor under the SeaPort-e contract since May 2005.
