Cree introduces small LEDs for lighting applications

DURHAM, N.C., 7 Aug. 2008. Cree Inc. in Durham, N.C. is introducing the XLamp XP-E and XP-C light emitting diodes (LEDs) for electronic illumination applications. The LEDs measure 3.45-millimeter square by 2-millimeter high and are for backlighting, lighted signs, outdoor, indoor, and transportable lighting.
