MCLEAN, Va., 17 Jan. 2008. SPADAC has announced the 1st Space Brigade at U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) will deploy EarthWhere to its Commercial Exploitation Team (CET) in support of the warfighter. The CET will leverage EarthWhere to address tactical in-field spatial data management needs.

The Commercial Exploitation Team is one of several units from U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/U.S. Army Forces Strategic Command currently supporting operations in the Middle East. In support of their mission, Army analysts and operators will leverage the power of EarthWhere to speed the process of searching, defining, generating the right imagery for the defined task or problem set.

"The CET regularly sets new standards for productivity and efficiency in supporting the warfighter," says Major James T. Bushong. "By leveraging technology to manage and exploit superior spatial data assets, we're providing our in-theatre teams a superior advantage."

"EarthWhere was specifically designed for units such as the CET--with a real need to deliver tremendous amounts of actionable information quickly and efficiently to the warfighter," says Peter Borissow, SPADAC's product manager for EarthWhere. "We are honored to support mission-critical operations in theater."
