Tetra Tech team wins NNSA program contract, to deliver radiation-detection units

PASADENA, Calif., 24 June 2008. Tetra Tech is part of a team led by SES-TECH Global Solutions of Bellevue, Wa., that was selected to support the U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) under the Design, Integration, Construction, Communication, and Engineering (DICCE) small business set-aside contracts. The team will share in the $700 million contract ceiling over the next seven years.

PASADENA, Calif., 24 June 2008. Tetra Tech is part of a team led by SES-TECH Global Solutions of Bellevue, Wa., that was selected to support the U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) under the Design, Integration, Construction, Communication, and Engineering (DICCE) small business set-aside contracts. The team will share in the $700 million contract ceiling over the next seven years.

The DICCE contracts are part of the NNSA Second Line of Defense program's collaboration to provide radiation-detection systems for partner countries in order to deter, detect, and interdict illicit trafficking of nuclear and radiological materials.

The SES-TECH Global Solutions team will install radiation detection equipment and accompanying communication systems at land border crossings, seaports, and airports. The DICCE contracts potentially encompass more than 270 sites in 30 countries.
