TORRANCE, Calif., 29 Feb. 2008.Martek Power Abbott in Torrance, Calif., is introducing two high-power, multi-channel models to the 28-volt input DC-DC converter family.
The new models, CB150D and CB225T, are available at 2, 3.3, 5, 5.2, 12, 15, 24, and 28 volts DC outputs, expanding the choice of output power of the CB series DC-DC power converter to a range of 5 to 225 Watts. The models are reliable COTS converters with several independent 75-Watt output for military, industrial, and aerospace applications.
Measuring in 2.28-by-2.9-by-.0.5 inches, the CB150D is a 150-Watt device with two independent 75-Watt output channels. The CB225T measuring 2.28-by-4.35-by-0.5 inches, is a triple-output module with three independent 75-Watt output channels.
Both DC-DC converters feature an input range of 16 to 40 volts DC and a power density of 45 Watts per cubic inch. Standard features include remote turn on/off (TTL), output overvoltage trim pin, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, fixed frequency (500kHz) conversion and synchronization input.
All models are available in I (unscreened) and M (screened) grades, and boosting efficiency as high as 84 percent. The modules operate over an operating temperature range of -55 to 100 degrees Celsius from no load to full load.
