Government of Kuwait employs Electronic Sensor Technology's zNose portable chemical-profiling and security-screening solution for homeland security

NEWBURY PARK, Calif., 29 September 2006. Electronic Sensor Technology (EST), a provider of homeland security and environmental solutions, has announced the receipt of an initial order for three Model 4300 zNose instruments to be delivered to the Government of Kuwait through EST's distributor, Applied Systems International Inc.

Electronic Sensor Technology (EST), a provider of homeland security and environmental solutions, has announced the receipt of an initial order for three Model 4300 zNose instruments to be delivered to the Government of Kuwait through EST's distributor, Applied Systems International Inc.

The 4300 zNose will become part of the government's homeland security efforts.

A portable chemical profiling system, the zNose integrates an ultra-high-speed chromatograph column, a solid-state sensor, a programmable gate array
microprocessor, a vapor preconcentrator, battery, and disposable helium gas tank.

EST executives anticipate that this initial order is a precursor to additional follow-on orders.
