Aeroflex unveils three radiation-hardened logic devices for space applications

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., 26 March 2007. Aeroflex Colorado Springs is announcing production of three radiation-hardened RadHard MSI Logic products for spaceborne applications.

These include the UT54ACS299 (8-bit Universal Shift/Storage Register), UT54ACS630 (RadHard EDAC) and UT54ACTS899 (9-bit Catchable Transceiver) all of which had recently been obsoleted by suppliers.
Aeroflex RadHard MSI Logic products adhere to the form, fit, and functionality to the original devices. A combination of RadHard-by-Design techniques along with high-volume commercial manufacturing methods are used to produce these replacement legacy RadHard ICs.
All are QML Q and V compliant products and available via the following Standard Microcircuit Drawing (SMD) in "drop-in compatible" packages.
