FLIR Systems receives $22.9 million order from U.S. Army

PORTLAND, Ore., 10 Aug. 2007. FLIR Systems Inc. has won a $22.9 million order from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Ala., for its Star Safire III stabilized multisensor systems.

PORTLAND, Ore., 10 Aug. 2007.FLIR Systems Inc. has won a $22.9 million order from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Ala., for its Star Safire III stabilized multisensor systems.

This award represents the first delivery order under a new $77.9 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. The units delivered under this contract will support ongoing U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps programs. Work on the delivery order will begin immediately and be performed in FLIR's Portland production facility.
