At Spacecomm 2007, Crystal Group demonstrated several rugged computing options, including the newest addition to the Crystal Group server family and RS line, the RS232-SF.

The RS232-SF server is designed for performance, ruggedness, and reliability. With a super-short depth of 12.5 inches and front I/O, the RS232-SF is an ideal computer for shipboard, airborne, and land- based applications -- anywhere shallow depth and rugged construction are necessary.

If you require performance in a variety of environments, the RS232- SF offers extended capability with shock/vibe rating of 6 GRMS in combined wheeled vehicle and aircraft profiles, a temperature range of –20 degrees C up to 60 degrees C (-4 to140 degrees F) and multiple power options. The RS232-SF is designed and being tested to meet MIL- STDs 810F, 167-1, 461E, and 901D requirements.

The RS232-SF is available with the following processor options: Intel Core 2 Duo, Dual Core Intel Xeon, and AMD Opteron.
