Dynamics Research Corporation on team awarded $5 billion VETS GWAC contract

ANDOVER, Mass., 22 May 2007. Dynamics Research Corporation is part of the Penobscot Bay Media (Pen Bay) team awarded the veterans technology services government-wide acquisition contract (VETS GWAC), a small business contract for service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVO) small technology firms.

The contract has a $5 billion program ceiling for all contractors and is for five years with one five-year option. Under the terms of the contract, DRC will provide services in the areas of systems operations and maintenance and information systems engineering.

The VETS GWAC is the direct result of Executive Order 13360, signed by President Bush, which calls for a strengthening of federal contract opportunities for SDVO small businesses. The vehicle presents a new way for federal agencies to meet the three percent goal for contracting with SDVO businesses.
