TROY, Mich. - Altair, a company specializing in computational intelligence in Troy, Mich., announced it had been selected by with Motivo, a product engineering firm in Gardena, Calif., to create a partnership to advance innovation in the aerospace industry. Motivo will be utilizing Altair's engineering consulting and software tools.

Motivo, which focuses on engineering for sectors like mobility, energy, and aerospace, has been using Altair’s high-performance computing platforms for tasks like prototype development and testing for propulsion systems in aerospace. These tools are particularly useful in designing components for vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft.

Altair’s technology, including simulation and AI-powered engineering tools, allows Motivo to streamline its design processes and improve product development in areas such as safety and performance targets.
