VAN NUYS, Calif. – Moticont in Van Nuys, Calif., is introducing the GVCM-019-016-02 linear voice coil actuator for motion control in optical focusing, dynamic vibration absorption, scanners and laser beam steering and filtering, switch activation, testing, sorting, assembly equipment, work holding, and clamping.
This actuator, also called an electric cylinder, measures 0.75 inches in diameter, and has a force-to-size ratio of 7.4 ounces continuous force, 23.7 ounces of peak force, and a stroke length of 0.25 inches.
The housing measures 0.625 inches long and in the fully extended position the shaft extends 0.436 inches beyond the face of the housing.
This linear actuator features high acceleration and deceleration, high speed, high reliability, and zero backlash. This small brushless servo motor is a suitable low cost replacement for pneumatic linear actuators.
This brushless servo linear actuator for motion control has a 2-56-UNC-2A thread to a length of 0.156 inches for a backlash-free connections and the housing and coil ends each have 2 4-40 UNC-2B threaded mounting holes on 0.313-inch centers.
