MIL-S-8805/3 rated and in compliance with MIL-S-8805/3 and MS25089 standards, the momentary (PTT) and push-pull action devices help enhance the reliability, speed, and flexibility of tactical communications and power networks.
NX series push-button switches are commonly ordered with Amphenol Nexus Technologies connectors to ensure network integrity while helping OEMs speed time-to-market.
The U.S.-madeNX series of tactical push-button switches provide intermittent signal or electrical transmission in military cyber, command, control, communications, and computers (C5) systems and rugged industrial applications.
These switches meet the requirements of naval, commercial, and military aviation and avionics, as well as vehicular tactical power and communications designs, military fire control, and simulation systems.
Rated 3 to 10 amps at 28 volts DC, Amphenol NEXUS Technologies panel and circuit board mount NX series push-button switches come in 1-to-7-contact configurations and with two pounds of operating force.
The rugged momentary (PTT) or push-pull actuation devices offer a service life as long as 500,000 cycles, plus are available rated IP67 for applications for water and dust resistance. A wide range of housing materials and button colors -- including black, red, gray, white, and yellow are available.
