Interpoint unveils rad-hard power supplies

Interpoint, a subsidiary of Crane Co. in Redmond, Wash., is introducing a new line of off-the-shelf radiation-hardened DC-DC power converters and electromagnetic interference filters qualified to MIL-PRF-38534 Class K for space applications. Two converters and a filter are available for order now, with four more products to be introduced later in the year. Devices come in three levels of radiation tolerance: levels O, L, and R. O level has no radiation guarantee, L level is rad-hard to 50 Krads
