30 amp 10-to-33 volt sensorless motor drives for motion control applications introduced by Koford
WINCHESTER, Ohio, 1 May 2014. Koford Engineering LLC in Winchester, Ohio, is introducing a series of 30 amp 10-to-33 volt sensorless motor drives for motor and motion control applications.
This drives feature 99 percent efficiency, compact size and high performance. The design feature reliable start up and operation to 90,000 rpm with a 2 pole slotless motor.
Models are available with either closed loop or open loop speed control. Versions with brake and enable inputs, and versions with motor over-temperature protection using a motor thermistor are available.
The brake function works either with a battery or a power supply; no external resistor is required. External inductors are not required for slotless or ironless motors.
The drives operate without programing, dip switches, or any set up or adjustments being required. The pwm frequency is 37 kHz. The drive measures 3.73 by 5.060 by 1.007 inches and weighs 6.5 ounces.
