75-Watt chassis-mount DC/DC converter for industrial process control introduced by Calex
CONCORD, Calif., 5 Oct. 2012. Calex Mfg. Co. in Concord, Calif., is introducing announces the QCM 75-Watt chassis-mount DC/DC converter power supply with a DIN mount adapter for industrial process control applications.
The QCM series power electronics devicesoffers an input range of 18 to 36 volts DC and 36 to 75 volts DC with output voltages from 3.3 to 24 Volts DC.
The QCM is encapsulated with easily accessible recessed barrier strips. The package measures 2.65 by 4.2 by 1 inch excluding the DIN adapter on the rear of the unit. The DIN option is available by adding a "-DIN" to the QCM part number.
The QCM is isolated input to output. The isolation voltage is 1544 volts DC. The operating temperature range of the QCM is -40 to 100 degrees Celsius. The storage temperature for all models is -40 to 120 C.

All models feature remote ON/OFF as well as output voltage trim. The voltage trim range is plus-or-minus 10 percent. The units are protected by reverse input voltage protection, pulse by pulse current limiting, dead short current limiting and over-temperature protection.
