NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – L-com, an Infinite Electronics brand in North Andover, Mass. is introducing coiled hospital-grade power cords to eliminate accidental disconnections and enable movement for critical equipment in industrial, PCs and servers, and health care applications.

All models have heavy-duty HGN5-15 plugs on one end and either a C13 receptacle or no connector on the other end. NEMA 5-15 plugs are durable and can withstand abuse. They have a solid ground pin that reduces accidental disconnects from bumping or pulling.

The coil of the power cords helps users move devices easily and helps prevent sudden disconnections. This compressed coil cable also compresses to shorter lengths. A 1-foot cord stretches out to about 8 feet, and a 2-foot cord extends to about 15 feet.

These models are made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) that holds coils better than PVC. The jacket is rated SJT for indoor use. For more information contact L-com online at www.l-com.com.
