Brushless linear voice coil servo motor for laser beam steering and optical focusing introduced by Moticont
VAN NUYS, Calif. – Moticont in Van Nuys, Calif., is introducing the GVCM-032-025-02M linear voice coil servo motor for laser beam steering and filtering, optical focusing, dynamic vibration absorption, testing, Haptic feedback, pipetting, medical devices, sorting, and assembly.
This 12.7millimeter stroke compact linear servo motor with built-in shaft and bearing is 31.8 millimeters in diameter. The housing is 25.4 millimeters long, and combined with the coil end the total length is 34.95 millimeters.
In the extended position, the 3.175-millimeter-diameter shaft extends 15.9 millimeters beyond the face of the housing. The shaft has a M2.2X0.45 by 5.1 millimeters deep thread, and the housing and coil ends have two M3.5X0.6 mounting holes on a 12.7-millimeter bolt circle.
Also referred to as an electric cylinder, this compact linear servo actuator, features a continuous high-force-to-size ratio of 2.1 pounds and 6.6 pounds of peak force at a 10 percent duty cycle.
Features include high reliability, high speed, zero cogging, high acceleration and deceleration. These non-commutated, brushless linear servo motors are clean and quiet.
