LEWISVILLE, Texas – Fairview Microwave Inc. in Lewisville, Texas, is introducing the Quartz series of surface-mount failsafe electro-mechanical relay switches for applications that must operate in demanding conditions.

These precision switches come in micro-sized packages and offer frequency bandwidth from DC to an 26 GHz. The Quartz series can manage as much as 40 Watts average power during hot switching, and each switch is built with failsafe actuators, with 12- and 24-volt models.

These switches can withstand the effects of shock and vibration, and have gold-plated mounting surface that resist oxidation. Fairview's Quartz series operates in frequency bands from VHF, UHF, and K bands to serve a variety of applications.

They offer insertion loss rates as low as 0.2 decibels, high isolation exceeding 50 decibels, and a rapid switching time averaging 5 milliseconds. For more information contact Fairview Microwave online at www.fairviewmicrowave.com.
