FORT MYERS, Fla., 20 May 2012. Crystek Corp. in Fort Myers, Fla., is introducing the CCHD-950 series ultra-low-phase-noise clock oscillator for avionics, test and measurement equipment, low-phase signal sources, synthetic instrumentation such as VXI and PXI, and high-definition TV. The CCHD-950 pushes the phase noise performance benchmark with a -168 dBc/Hz noise floor (100 MHz model).

FORT MYERS, Fla., 20 May 2012. Crystek Corp. in Fort Myers, Fla., is introducing the CCHD-950 series ultra-low-phase-noise clock oscillator for RF and microwave applications in avionics, test and measurement equipment, low-phase signal sources, synthetic instrumentation such as VXI and PXI, and high-definition TV. The CCHD-950 pushes the phase noise performance benchmark with a -168 dBc/Hz noise floor (100 MHz model).

The CCHD-950 generates frequencies between 45 MHz and 130 MHz, with 50 MHz, 80 MHz, 100 MHz and 130 MHz offered as standard. A high-Q crystal and 3rd overtone technology provide the ultra-low-phase noise and low-jitter performance. Generating no sub-harmonics, the CCHD-950 requires an input supply voltage of 3.3 volts DC consuming 15 milliamps of current.

The CCHD-950 is available in an FR5 9x14 mm SMD package. An extended-temperature operating range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius also is available.
