SANTA ROSA, Calif., 3 Nov. 2006. SenarioTek, a provider of custom RF and microwave test interface and system integration solutions, has introduced the e-trak series of RF switch matrices with remote in-line calibration correction.

Features and benefits include:

-- thermal and vacuum (TVAC) compatibility correction for repeatability and drift errors
-- monitors calibration figure of merit
-- alerts when system requires recalibration
-- extends calibration intervals
-- reduces the number of calibration paths
-- allows calibration tracking without disconnection
-- broadband frequency coverage up to 32GHz.

Typical applications include RFIC test, satellite payload test, thermal and vacuum chamber test, and test of multiport DUTs and phased arrays.

E-trak reduces the need for calibrating the ATE system by monitoring and correcting the calibration errors due to temperature drift, change of RF cables and connectors, switch repeatability, and system errors. This is especially important for Satellite payload test due to the sensitivity of these test systems to TVAC environment, as well as tight performance specifications.

Another high-value application for e-trak is in semiconductor test. E-trak helps reduce test time by minimizing the amount of time and the number of times the test system needs calibration.
