CANNON FALLS, Minn. – Gemstar Protective Hard Cases in Cannon Falls, Minn., is introducing the GemShield RF EMI-shielded case for transporting sensitive electronics and maintaining data integrity in military, aerospace, and health care applications.

RoboRack half-rack cases from Gemstar offer the option to include the GemShield RF EMI shielding liner by V Technical Textiles Inc. in Palmyra, N.Y.

High-powered electric sources like mobile networks and radio equipment can emit electromagnetic waves that interfere with sensitive equipment, and require EMI shielding.

When sealed, the GemShield RF EMI shielding liner can attenuate as much as 85 decibels in 30 MHz to 18 GHz. The EMI shielding liner is tested to IEEE 299 and MIL-STD-285. Berry Compliant options are available. The GemShield RF EMI shielding liner is customizable to any Gemstar case.
