High-speed video camera for super-slow-motion research applications introduced by Specialised Imaging
PITSTONE, England – Specialised Imaging Ltd. in Pitstone, England, is introducing the Kirana07M high-speed video camera that enables researchers to capture as many as 180 consecutive high resolution images at frame rates as fast as 7 million frames per second and exposure times as low as 50 nanoseconds.
The Kirana07M combines the triggering flexibility of high-speed video cameras with greater resolution at megahertz capture speeds. The camera maintains its 924 x 768-pixel resolution at all frame rates for high spatial and temporal resolution.
The compact Kirana07M camera includes triggering facilities, timing control, and output signals for synchronization with various illumination sources. Users control all camera functions with an intuitive software package.
Full remote operation using Ethernet connectivity enables users to integrate the Kirana07M into almost any environment. The Kirana07M offers high performance, ease-of-use and operational flexibility for slow-motion video images for scientific research applications.
