UVG20S has a 5.5-millimeter active area, stable responsivity over wide temperature ranges, and internal quantum efficiency from 200 to 400 nanometers.

CAMARILLO, Calif. – Opto Diode Corp. in Camarillo, Calif., is introducing the UVG20S ultraviolet-enhanced detector for ultraviolet (UV) detection between 190-to-400-nanometer spectral wavelengths with a spectrum of 190 to 1000 nanometers.

The UVG20S electro-optical sensor features a 5.5-millimeter diameter active area, stable responsivity over wide temperature ranges, and internal quantum efficiency from 200 to 400 nanometers. The photodetector is has a UV quartz window epoxy-bonded in place for integration into new or existing systems.

The circular active-area device is for high-energy detection like laser power monitoring applications. Under test conditions at 254 nanometers, the UVG20S detector's responsivity ranges from a minimum of 0.105 amperes per Watt to a maximum of 0.115 amperes per Watt.

Storage and operating temperatures range from -20 to 80 degrees Celsius and the lead soldering temperature is 26 C. For more information contact Opto Diode online at https://optodiode.com.
