Rugged 360-degree camera for high-definition mapping, inspection, and road surveys offered by Teledyne FLIR
RICHMOND, British Columbia – Teledyne FLIR Integrated Imaging Solutions in Richmond, British Columbia, is introducing the Ladybug6 360-degree camera for applications like high-definition mapping, road surveying, and asset inspection.
The Ladybug6 offers precision trigger control and resolution in a field-proven format, and is designed to capture 360-degree spherical images from moving platforms in all weather conditions.
Its industrial-grade design and factory calibration produce 72-megapixel images with pixel values that are spatially accurate within plus-or-minus two millimeters at a 10-meter distance.
The Ladybug6 offers increased image resolution, enhanced on-board processing, and rugged IP67-rated connectors. Support is available for additional Global Navigation Satellite Systems and advanced APIs.
The 360-degree camera also has global shutter CMOS sensors and high-end optics to capture high-resolution images across a wide range of lighting conditions with excellent color response, low noise, and a high dynamic range.
The Ladybug6 captures, compresses, and transmits 8-bit or 12-bit pixel data with on-board image processing. Its software development kit enables image acquisition, spherical and panoramic image production, and fine-grain control of pre and post acquisition camera settings.
The Ladybug6 features an IP67 rating, industrial grade IP67 rated connectors, and an operating temperature range of -30 to 50 degrees Celsius.
