FAIRPORT, N.Y. – Electronics distributor Saelig Co. Inc. in Fairport, N.Y. is offering the economical high-performance Siglent SDS5000X series of advanced digital storage oscilloscopes, which are available in 2 or 4 channel versions with bandwidths of 350 MHz, 500 MHz, and 1GHz.

With a maximum sample rate of 5 gigasamples per second, these scopes offer a maximum record length of 250 Mpts to enable deep memory investigation of glitches and infrequent events; they also have the option of 16 digital channels for mixed signal analysis.

The SDS5000X series has a maximum waveform capture rate of up to 480,000 waveforms per second in sequence mode. Visibility of waveforms on the oscilloscopes is enhanced by a 256-level intensity-grading display function with a color temperature display mode.

The 10.1-inch capacitive touch screen supports efficient multi-touch gestures, and has a single button feature for many commonly used functions. Users can connect an external mouse and keyboard to add navigation and notation capabilities.

The SDS5000X's digital trigger system offers high sensitivity and low jitter, with several trigger modes that include serial bus decode triggering, as well as edge, slope, pulse, window, runt, interval, dropout, pattern, qualified and HDTV video.

History waveform recording for test and measurement, sequence acquisition, search and navigate functions enable users to capture, store, and analyze extended waveform records.

SDS5000X instruments are designed with measurement and math capabilities as well as serial decoding of protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN, CAN FD, FlexRay, I2S and MIL-STD-1553B.

An MSO option enables users to add digital debug capabilities by adding 16 digital channels with maximum waveform capture rate as fast as 1.25 gigasamples per second. The oscilloscope has an external 25 MHz function and arbitrary waveform generator with built-in predefined waveforms.
