Test types include scattering parameter measurement, differential parameter measurement, receiver measurement, and time-domain parameter analysis.

FAIRPORT, N.Y. – Electronics distributor Saelig Co. Inc. in Fairport, N.Y. is offering the Siglent SNA6000A vector network analyzers from SIGLENT Technologies America Inc. in Solon, Ohio, for determining the Q-factor, bandwidth, and insertion loss of filters.

These test and measurement instruments offer a frequency range of 100 kHz to 13.5 GHz, and 100 kHz to 26.5 GHz to support 2 or 4-port scattering parameters, differential-parameters, and time domain measurements.

The SNA6000A series can handle RF and microwave impedance conversion, movement of measurement plane, limit testing, ripple test, fixture simulation, and adapter removal and insertion adjustments, and have five sweep types: linear-frequency mode, log-frequency mode, power-sweep mode, CW-time mode, and segment-sweep mode.

The SNA6000A series also supports scattering-parameter correction of SOLT, SOLR, TRL, response, and enhanced response for increased flexibility in research, development, and manufacturing applications. Output level setting range is -55 to +10 decibel-milliwatts with a resolution of 0.05 decibels. Frequency resolution is 1 Hz.

The Siglent SNA6000A series adds 4-port 26.5 GHz capability, with an improvement in dynamic range over the previous SNA5000A. Types of calibration include: response, enhanced, full-one port, full-two port, full-three port, full-four port, and TRL calibration.

Types of measurement include scattering parameter measurement, differential parameter measurement, receiver measurement, time-domain parameter analysis, limit test, ripple test, impedance conversion, fixture simulation, adapter removal/insertion, spectrum analysis frequency offset, scalar mixer measurement, and pulse measurement.

Remote control is possible via SCPI/ Labview/ IVI based on USB-TMC / VXI-11 / Socket /Telnet /WebServer. The 12.1-inch touchscreen can be viewed via HDMI/DVI-D/D to a larger display.
